Copyright Policy — Collective Finity
1. Our commitment
Collective Finity respects the intellectual property rights of others. At present, all music published on the Site is created and uploaded solely by Wael Safan, who holds or has secured the necessary rights to publish it. [If you allow other artists to upload content in the future, this section — and the rest of this policy — will need substantial revisions to describe how third-party rights holders can report infringing content uploaded by other users.]
If you nonetheless believe content on the Site infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please notify us using the process below, and we will investigate promptly.
2. How to submit a copyright complaint
Send a written notice to contact@collectivefinity.com with the subject line “Copyright Complaint,” including:
- Your name and contact information (email, and mailing address if available)
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
- The exact URL(s) on Collective Finity where the allegedly infringing content appears
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
3. What happens next
Upon receiving a valid complaint, we will:
- Review the reported content within 3 business days
- Remove or disable access to the content if the complaint appears valid
- Notify the user who uploaded the content, where applicable
- [Describe any repeat-infringer policy you intend to enforce, e.g. “accounts responsible for repeated valid copyright complaints may be suspended or terminated.”]
4. Counter-notification
If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to contact@collectivefinity.com including your contact information, identification of the removed content, and a statement made under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed by mistake.
5. Repeat infringers
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the accounts of users who are found, on separate occasions, to have infringed the intellectual property rights of others.
